Rasa Vision is an intelligent and accessible voice assistant for the Android operating system that makes using a mobile phone easier. The app can read the content of pages, perform certain voice commands such as opening apps or announcing the date, and provide other useful features.

Rasa Vision is designed with a focus on accessibility so that all users, especially people with disabilities, can use their mobile phones more easily and independently.

Rasa Vision is an independent application for the Android operating system and is not pre-installed on devices by default. To use it, simply install the app on your device.

Unlike general-purpose voice assistants such as Google Assistant and Siri, Rasa Vision is designed with a focus on accessibility. In addition to performing certain voice commands, the app can read the full content of the screen, support smart vibration for deaf users, and work with Android accessibility tools such as TalkBack, accessible keyboards, and Accessibility features.

These features make Rasa Vision a more practical and suitable experience for users with disabilities.

Rasa Vision is designed so that some of its features can be used without an internet connection. However, for features that require online processing, such as more accurate voice command processing, an internet connection is required.

Rasa Vision can be installed and used on phones and tablets running Android 8.0 (Oreo) and above. Currently, there is no version available for the iOS operating system, and support for other platforms is planned for future development.

By reading the content on the screen and providing information through audio, Rasa Vision enables users to use their mobile phones without needing to see the screen. It also helps blind and visually impaired users use the features of their mobile phones more easily and independently through voice commands and accessibility features.

Users can register a desired word in the “Smart Vibration” section. Whenever these words are detected in the surrounding environment by Rasa Vision, the mobile phone automatically vibrates to notify the user that they have been heard.

This feature is particularly useful for deaf or hard-of-hearing users to detect important sounds or when their name is called.

After downloading the app and logging into their account, all Rasa Vision features will be active for 15 Days. After that, users must purchase a subscription.

Yes. Rasa Vision is designed to be fully compatible with screen readers and assistive tools such as TalkBack and to work alongside them without interference.

Currently, Rasa Vision’s primary focus is on the Persian language. Support for other languages is planned for future development.

Yes. The volume can be adjusted within the application.

In this version, there are two voices: Ava (female) and Borna (male).

Users can choose the option that best suits them from the available voices.

Yes. Users can disable certain features through the service settings or submit a request to delete their data.

Users’ information is protected in accordance with security and privacy principles, and unauthorized access to the data is not permitted.

No. Rasa Vision does not store any audio from users.

Simple voice commands such as “up,” “down,” “next,” and “select” are activated through speech and are highly useful for users who have difficulty using touch controls, such as people with motor disabilities.

Please note that after downloading the application and logging into your account, all Rasa Vision features will be active for 15 Days. After that, you will need to purchase a subscription.

After downloading the software, begin the installation process. When you open the application, a window will appear showing the Login and Sign Up options.

If you have already registered in the application, select Login and enter your username and password. If you are using Rasa Vision for the first time, click Sign Up, enter your information, and finally complete the registration.

The status of your active subscription is displayed through the Subscription Status link located in the upper-left corner of the application. By clicking on this link, a window will open displaying your username and the number of days remaining on your subscription.

There are three options available in this window:

• Purchase: Opens the Rasa Vision subscription plans window.
• Purchase for Others: Allows you to purchase a subscription for someone else.

After payment, you will regain access to all available features. To check the latest status of your subscription, you can access your dashboard through the website or the application.

Rasa is compatible as a voice engine with mobile screen readers such as TalkBack or Commentary.

The Rasa Vision software has two voices in this version:

• Ava (Female)
• Borna (Male)

You can configure Rasa to read punctuation marks in all cases, never read them, read them in some cases, or read them in most cases.

Persian: Numbers within the text are read in Persian (for example, ۱۴۰۴ → “one thousand four hundred and four”).

English: Numbers are read in English (۱۴۰۴ → “one thousand four hundred and four”).

Based on the Text: Numbers are read exactly according to the language of the text (for example, in English text they are read in English, and in Persian text they are read in Persian).

You can configure Rasa to read or not read emojis within the text.

This feature allows the user to change the Persian-to-English sampling rate.

You can adjust the Rasa voice volume in this section.

You can adjust the silence interval between languages.

When a text is written in Persian and contains an English word, the Persian text is read first. When the reader reaches the English word, it pauses (the pause duration can be adjusted), reads the English word, then pauses again and continues reading the Persian text.

When enabled, whenever the text reaches a non-Persian language (such as English, Arabic, Kurdish, etc.), the application automatically activates the appropriate TTS engine for that language to provide more natural and accurate pronunciation.

Settings for the Selected Engine: You can change the speech rate and word pronunciation speed and set them to your preferred level.

You can adjust the speed at which Rasa reads texts.

You can click the plus sign at the bottom left of the page and add your desired words or abbreviations.

There are three dots at the top right of the page. By clicking on them, the Glossary Workspace will open. The workspace includes:

Note: To add a word, you must also enter its phonetic form. The phonetic form is written similarly to Finglish, except that S is used for the letter ش, Z for ژ, x for خ, q for ق/غ, and w for ع/ء when the word begins with a vowel sound.

Using computer vision capabilities:

When you click on Talking Camera, the application will request permission to access the camera. After granting permission, the phone's camera will open and the camera will read aloud everything it sees.

If the phone is set to silent or vibration mode, the application will not read anything aloud (including notifications, calls, or SMS). This is suitable for nighttime or meetings.

The application will only speak when headphones, earphones, or a Bluetooth headset are connected. This feature is useful for maintaining privacy in public places.

Every time the application is opened, a welcome message will be read aloud.

You can temporarily disable Rasa by shaking the phone so that it waits for the next command.

When someone calls you, the application announces the caller's name aloud (if the person is saved in your contacts) or the phone number. In this section, you can set the number of repetitions and the interval between repetitions.

When you receive an SMS, the application reads the sender's name and the full text of the message aloud.

Every time the charger is connected or disconnected, the application announces the battery percentage and status (charging / fully charged / disconnected).

The application announces via voice when Wi-Fi or mobile data is connected or disconnected.

Click on this section to enable reading of incoming notifications. You need to grant Rasa the required permission.

When you click on Read Notifications, an option called “Go to Settings” will appear. Click on it, find the Rasa application among your phone's applications, and enable the permission.

The “Rasa” voice assistant is activated, and you can use voice commands to operate the application.

In this section, you can specify what response Rasa should give you when you call its name. If no response is specified, it will respond by default only with “Yes.”

By saying the word “Rasa” at the beginning of the command:

This feature operates on the phone screen according to commands such as up, down, left, right, or open. The Back command is used to close an application.

You have already enabled this feature through the previous permissions, but the Accessibility page will open again. You must enter the last option and turn Rasa Vision off and then on again. The phone will then request final permission, and the voice keyboard will be activated.

This permission is essential for reading the voice keyboard.

In this section, you can define a desired word and select the vibration pattern you want.

After activation, whenever you say that word, the phone will vibrate according to the selected vibration pattern.

By clicking on this option, the application settings will be restored to their initial state.

If you have not registered, the Sign Up option will be displayed. Otherwise, your user profile will be shown.

The Rasa Vision Version section shows which version of Rasa Vision you are currently using.

You can purchase your subscription through the Purchase section.

The application will ask you to provide your first name, last name, date of birth, mobile phone number, and email address.

You can also view your username in this section.

In this section, you can define the commands you need for your personal assistant and specify what action Rasa should perform when you say your chosen phrases.

For example, suppose you have chosen the name “Taxi” for the Snapp application. Whenever you say “Taxi,” the Snapp application will open for you.

You can download the latest version of the application from the Update section.
